Our Story
APXev emerged from its precursor, Energy Capital USA, amidst the tumult of the 2008 market crash. Recognizing a prime opportunity, Energy Capital committed $300 million to invest in robust companies led by excellent management teams. The firm collaborated with leading energy corporations to manage divestitures and innovative financing solutions, swiftly earning acclaim across diverse market sectors. Success in these ventures led to expansion into sectors like SAS, MMO gaming, commercial real estate, and payment systems. Inspired by these achievements, the founder shifted focus towards decarbonization and EV infrastructure, thus establishing APX Energy Ventures.
